My very first press release was written during my Public Relations class. I got the idea after seeing a post on Facebook about a restaurant which allegedly offered VIP seating to guests who were vaccinated.

NOW COVID-19 VACCINATED INDIVIDUALS CAN RECEIVE DISCOUNTS ON THEIR PERSONAL VERIZON WIRELESS PHONE PLANS

United States citizens can now receive a discount up to $40 per line on their Verizon Wireless phone plan when they present proof of their COVID-19 vaccination

NEW YORK – Now current and new customers of Verizon Wireless can get a large discount on their monthly phone plan when they show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.

Starting today, customers who are vaccinated against COVID-19 can sign up for the Verizon Wireless phone plan for $30 per line per month for up to four lines when enrolled in autopay – a savings of $40 per line per month before taxes and fees.

“These past two years have been difficult for everyone,” said Hans Vestberg, CEO at Verizon since 2018. “We are ready to get back to normal. The only way for us to do that is to make sure we’re all safe.” The CEO says the company is doubling down on their efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 by requiring all employees to be vaccinated, social distance, and wear masks. “This discount for [COVID-19] vaccinated individuals is our way of saying ‘Thank you’ to people who have done their part.”

To get the discount, log into your My Verizon account and upload the proper documentation or visit your local Verizon store.
